Dedicated Diesel Generator Unit Exhaust Gas Purification System for Data Center

Hebei Hanlan is a company specializing in Diesel Generator Unit Exhaust Gas Purification System for Data Center, catalytic mufflers, diesel particulate filters, SCR systems and heat exchanger catalytic systems.

Description

Diesel generator sets can provide backup power for data centers with greater flexibility and safety. Diesel generator sets produce noise and diesel particulates. This is not just about emissions, but there is a growing concern about the impact of concentrating data centers in specific areas. This has become an even bigger problem as data centers intrude into sensitive residential areas. But to take advantage of this, data center operators need to ensure that backup diesel generators are as quiet as possible while keeping emissions as low as possible. Our equipment is used to reduce emissions and reduce noise.

On top of that, data center operators in the EU are also required to reduce SO2 and NOx emissions from their generators, according to a 2015 directive. This means operators must also deploy selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalytic converters to comply. The EU directive is not specific to the data center industry, but applies to operators of medium-sized combustion equipment with a combustion heat output of 1 to 50 MW.

SCR catalytic converters, such as Euro6 compliant diesel vehicles, use a urea solution to react with hot exhaust gas to form ammonia. When the resulting mixture reaches the SCR catalytic converter, ammonia (NH3) and NOx become a mixture of nitrogen and water. For backup diesel generators, adding a particulate filter before the SCR catalytic converter will help improve process efficiency, in addition to reducing the production of soot and dust particles in diesel exhaust.
