Description

The main principle of power generator silencers is the use of porous sound-absorbing materials to reduce noise. The sound-absorbing material is fixed on the inner wall of the airflow channel or arranged in the pipe in a certain way to form a resistive muffler. When the sound wave enters the resistive muffler, a part of the sound energy is rubbed in the pores of the porous material, converted into heat energy and dissipated, so that the sound wave passing through the muffler is weakened. There are many types of resistive mufflers. At present, there are two main types of mufflers used in low-noise projects in computer rooms: straight pipe mufflers and chip mufflers. The noise reduction performance is mainly related to the channel form, length and the performance of the sound absorbing material. 1. Correct and reasonable selection of the structural form of the resistive muffler

For the occasions with large air volume and large size air intake and exhaust requirements, the chip muffler should be selected. For the air intake and exhaust occasions with high requirements for noise reduction and large air pressure margin, the folded plate or multi-chamber muffler should be selected. 2. Correct selection of resistive sound-absorbing materials
