Recently, Hebei Hanlan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. successfully delivered a customized SCR DeNOx system for a biogas power generation project.
The system was specifically designed for generator sets with different power capacities, enabling precise control of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions—from high initial concentrations to ultra-low emission levels—fully complying with stringent environmental standards.

Project Overview:
This project covers multiple generator specifications, including:
·2 × 200 kW biogas generator sets
·1 × 600 kW biogas generator set

Each unit operates under different exhaust conditions:
200 kW Generator Sets
·Exhaust temperature: 450–550°C
·Flue gas flow: 850 Nm³/h (per unit)
·Initial NOx concentration: ≤3000 mg/Nm³ (at 5% O₂)
600 kW Generator Set
·Exhaust temperature: 380–480°C
·Flue gas flow: 2550 Nm³/h
·Initial NOx concentration: ≤500 mg/Nm³ (at 5% O₂)
To address these variations, Hanlan implemented a “one scr system per generator” customized configuration, ensuring optimal performance for each unit.
Final Result:
✔ NOx emissions reduced to ≤50 mg/Nm³ (at 5% O₂) for all units


Technical Solution:

The scr system is designed for high efficiency, stability, and flexibility:
·PLC-based automatic control system for full-process operation
·Honeycomb scr catalyst for high conversion efficiency
·Customized temperature matching:
·200 kW units: 450–550°C
·600 kW unit: 380–450°C
·Optimized reactor design for easy catalyst replacement
·Low energy consumption: 220V / 0.2 kW control system
·Low pressure drop, ensuring stable system operation
These features ensure that the catalyst always operates within its optimal activity window, maximizing DeNOx efficiency.

Catalyst Protection & Long-Term Stability:

To ensure sustained system performance, key catalyst protection measures are implemented:
Chemical Deactivation Control
·Strict limits on heavy metals, alkali metals, halogens, and sulfur compounds
·Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 500°C
Physical Deactivation Control
·Particulate concentration ≤5 mg/m³
·Siloxane content in fuel ≤0.05mg/m³
Prevent catalyst surface blockage and fouling
These measures effectively extend catalyst lifespan and maintain high DeNOx efficiency.
